En el marco de una brillante ceremonia en Londres Angelo Seminara fue coronado Peluquero Británico del Año en los prestigiosos British Hairdressing Awards.
La noche del 26 de noviembre tuvo lugar en el hotel Grosvenor House de Londres la tradicional ceremonia de los British Hairdressing Awards, organizados por la revista Hairdressers Journal y patrocinados por Schwarzkopf Professional, que ya alcanzaban su 28ª edición. Una noche brillante de celebración de la peluquería en la que se anunciaron los quince ganadores en categorías especializadas y regionales, además del gran premio, Peluquero Británico del Año, que fue a parar a las manos de Angelo Seminara.
En el resto de categorías, los ganadores fueron:
- Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year – Indira Schauwecker, Toni & Guy, Covent Garden, London
- Men’s Hairdresser of the Year – Tracey Devine, Angels, Aberdeen
- Afro Hairdresser of the Year – Craig Chapman, Craig Chapman Hair Design, Launceston, Cornwall
- Artistic Team of the Year – Mark Leeson Hair, Body & Mind, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
- Newcomer of the Year – Kieran Tudor, D&J Ambrose, Pinner, Middlesex
- Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year – Ken Picton and Paul Dennison, Ken Picton Salon, Cardiff
- London Hairdresser of the Year - Tina Farey, The House of Rush, Piccadilly
- Southern Hairdresser of the Year - Ryan Nicoletti-Dowd, Wigg, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
- Eastern Hairdresser of the Year – Shaun Hall, Mark Leeson Hair, Body & Mind, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
- Midlands Hairdresser of the Year – Sarah Bowron and Adrian Bowron, Aesthetics, Solihull, West Midlands
